About
St. John the Baptist Council was founded in 1990 through the efforts of Father Patrick J. Murphy and is currently named after the Church. The Council works closely with the St. John Parish, School, and the local community in Madison providing labor when needed and funding for various projects. The activities of the Council are recognized each year at the Alabama Knights of Columbus State Convention. Over the past years the Council has received several different State and Supreme level awards including State Council of the year on two separate occasions.
YOU’RE INVITED TO JOIN us in the good works we do for our parish; the many activities and events for our youth; and the brotherhood in an association of men and families with the same faith, the same values, and the same recognition of duty to God and to family.
